Where to Relax on the Best Beaches Near Barcelona

Let’s face it: It would be a shame to go to Spain and not visit Barcelona. It is one of the most international cities in Europe, and there is so much to see, from the Gaudi architecture to the temple of football – Camp Nou. But you are dreaming of holidays where you will lay on a beach and enjoy the beautiful Spanish warmth, while your kids play in the sand. There is a great way to do both.

Start by booking a Camping Site

If you want to mix visiting Barcelona, and laying on the best beaches of the Costa Brava, what you really have to do is to make a reservation in one of the best campings in Spain for family holidaysFrom there, you will be able to head out to the city a few times, during your stay, and to the beaches, on others. But most of all, you will get to benefit from having everything on site, including a great pool complex. Some of them even have their own beach. That’s a perk!

Barcelona

When you hop into town to discover this jewel of a city, bring along comfortable shoes. Barcelona is very large and there is lots to see. The best way to go, especially with the kids, is to buy tickets for the City Tour Bus. You can take a seat upstairs and view the city from the open air, as the bus takes you everywhere. As we said, it is big, so you may need to change bus lines, as well. Once that is done, discuss with the rest of the family members, which are the main elements that you would like to visit. Once that is done, stop at the next one coming up on the tour. No matter what you decide to do, don’t miss walking on the Ramblas, and visit the only cathedral that is still being built to this day, and which was designed by none other than Gaudi, himself.
