Evelyn adds Financial Planning director to Birmingham team

Wealth manager and Financial Planner Evelyn Partners has appointed Sarah Crowley as Financial Planning director.

Ms Crowley will be based at the firm’s new Birmingham office.

She joins Evelyn from Brighton-based IEP Financial where she was an independent financial adviser.

Prior to IEP she spent two years as Financial Planning manager at Santander and five years as a private client stockbroker at Killik & Co.

Niraj Vyas, managing partner at Evelyn Partners, said Ms Crowley will be instrumental in the firm’s plans to grow its Midlands Financial Planning operations.

He said: “I am very pleased to welcome Sarah to Evelyn Partners. Her appointment is part of our plans to grow the Midlands financial planning team over the coming year or two. We believe there are significant opportunities to increase our brand and presence across the region. Sarah’s experience and expertise will be invaluable as we continue with our growth strategy.”

Ms Crowley will be responsible for building new connections with the professional services community in and around Birmingham, with a focus on law firms.

She said: “I am absolutely delighted to join Evelyn Partners. The recent merger and rebranding have resulted in a very impressive, collaborative team and attractive proposition. They are uniquely positioned to offer a true holistic wealth management service and I am looking forward to collaborating with my colleagues to deliver the best service for our clients.

“Like Evelyn Partners, I believe everyone should have access to good advice and I am passionate about helping my clients achieve their goals.”

Evelyn Partners has recently expanded several of its regional teams.

Earlier this month the wealth manager and Financial Planner acquired Chartered Financial Planning firm Scholes & Brown.

The Newcastle-based Chartered Financial Planning firm joined under Evelyn’s succession programme.

The acquisition of Scholes & Brown is one of several for Evelyn under its succession scheme so far this year.

The wealth manager and Financial Planner acquired Buckinghamshire-based Financial Planning firm 2hWealthcare under the succession scheme last month.

The succession scheme was launched towards the end of last year.

Other firms to join Evelyn Partners under the succession programme include Glasgow-based Equilibrium Financial Consultancy, Capital Risk Management, and MP2 Financial.

The wealth manager and Financial Planner rebranded to Evelyn Partners from Tilney Smith & Williamson earlier this year.
